Jason Castro once again brought the house down on last night’s American Idol! The long locked young man was sitting down and did a completely original version of Mariah Carey’s I Don’t Wanna Cry and nailed it. Jason Castro is very comfortable singing and being before an audience, has a great stage presence and knows how to work the camera. Not only that, but his signing is exemplary.
His rendition of this song was very smooth and he truly made the song his own. He was very into it and the audience could really tell he really felt the song and made his connection. Similar to last week Jason showed the amazing range of his vocal abilities and astounded the listeners! In some parts of the song he sounded to me like a young George Michaels did when performing.
